Vault 16
Initial Inspiration
My intial ideas for this vault came from playing Fallout: 4. Most notably, I was inspired by the dark and grim experiments that were taking place in what were supposed to be havens of safety from the bombs. The very clear art of the vault mixed with nature taking back over inspired me to jump in to a vault on my own. I started looking for concept, and I wanted to really try and tackle some environmental story telling through my level. I wanted to try and form my story, and make it fit seamlessly into the world of Fallout.
The Layout:
I wanted to keep the idea that my level would fit in with the other levels designed in Fallout. So I followed some of the layout patterns with my own level. I wanted a main path through my vault, with small rooms players could go off and explore for extra lore and loot.
