Level Design

As a level designer at Anti-matter, I designed and whiteboxed several large scale maps, based off Scandinavian, Eastern European, and United Kingdom landscapes, villages, and towns.

  • Responsible for designing semi-open world multiplayer levels intended to be played by 80+ players at once.

  • Designed whiteboxed and landscaped environments in conjunction with the art team in order to achieve realistic and believable visuals

  • Worked on designing objective spaces meant to be approached from a multitude of different directions, on maps 1km by 1km in size.

  • Created varied and different environments meant at tackling a range of different types of playstyles, from vehicle combat in open fields, to CQC fights in an urban environment

  • Worked with artists and other level designers to capture local architecture and implement it into the design.

  • Created objective spaces intended for vehicles and players on foot, balancing them for both.

  • Engaged in playtesting with over 40+ players regularly, taking in feedback on objective and map design, and then iterating based on the feedback and intended design goals.
